Makes 2 good sized smoothies
2 cups spinach
2 cups unsweetened coconut milk or your favorite nondairy milk
1 orange, peeled
1 cup cooked sweet potato, chilled*
1 cup chopped frozen pineapple
1 piece (1⁄2") fresh ginger, peeled
Juice of 1⁄2 lime
Your favorite protein powder or 2 tablespoons hemp seeds
1. Blend the spinach and coconut milk until smooth. If you’ve got a shitty blender it’s important to do this in stages so you’re not getting whole leaves in your smoothie which is kinda gross.
2. Add the orange, sweet potato, pineapple, ginger, lime juice, and protein of your choice then blend again until that is smooth. This shit is as easy as it is filling.
*Just cut it up into big chunks and steam it until tender, about 10 minutes. Not that hard so calm the fuck down.
